The Popular Show Season Four Unveils the Soldiers Group

Ever since the premiere of the fourth campaign, fresh DM Brennan Lee Mulligan has kept viewers on edge with deep backstory, a diverse cast of heroes, and a exciting storyline including divine entities, demons, and sinister influences expanding in strength within Dol-Makjar.

Note: Revealing details for the latest installment of the new season are included.

The Combat-Oriented Party Introduced

The latest chapter finished on a dramatic pause and introduced the first table of adventurers who will split off from the main group to begin their separate journey, distinct from the additional parties.

The Soldiers table includes the determined fighter (portrayed by the voice actor), Thimble (Laura), the strong-willed figure (the cast member), Wicander (Sam), and Kattigan (Robbie Daymond).

The Reason for Division

Given a large ensemble, it was evident from the start that keeping everyone at one table would be impossible.

This explains, the first four episodes of this story serve as an Prelude, connecting the individual narratives before branching into three smaller tables: Soldiers, Planners, and Questers.

The Nature of the Combat Party

Per the DM, the combat-focused party is for players who are drawn to a classically intense battle-oriented gameplay experience where peaceful solutions are scarce.

Initially, characters like the reluctant priest Wicander might seem unsuited, but the events of the third episode demonstrate why these specific adventurers are ideally matched for the Soldiers table.

Motivations for Departure

To begin with, the group understands precisely where to head next after a intense opening clash with the enemy group.

A former ally of Thjazi Fang—whose death initiated the campaign’s events—exploited The Crow Keepers for his personal gain, invading Thjazi’s hideout, assaulting the rogue, and taking all the powerful objects to dispose of.

The traitor then settled his liabilities and escaped to a secure base in the remote area, north of the urban center, with Teor’s brother hot on his heels.

Character Drivers

Additionally, each character has a specific drive to exit Dol-Makjar:

  • Thimble, as the companion and closest confidant, wants vengeance.
  • The knowledgeable figure knows the region and advises that it is a nasty location.
  • Tyranny and Wicander, having resisted his relatives’ demands to eliminate the fighter and instead rescued him, have no safe haven.
  • Yet, their position as key figures in the influential clan could enable the party enter locations they normally couldn’t.
  • Additionally, Teor vowed a life debt to Wicander for his rescue and will now accompany him anywhere.

Wanted and Hunted

Lastly, all of them are hunted by the authorities that rule the city for a range of causes, making remaining behind dangerous:

  • The rogue and The character are known criminals.
  • The warrior and The cleric defied the influential house and the army of fiends they are allied with.
  • The target is wanted dead by the family.

This results in them no alternative but to head to Timmony in pursuit of the traitor.

Upcoming Developments

According to the recent installment’s Cooldown, we find out that the Soldiers table will be absent the following episode, leaving the other eight players to form the Questers and Schemers parties.

Viewers can look forward to learning which characters will be where in Campaign 4’s concluding setup installment, released on the upcoming Thursday.
